On the 13th of November 2019, the Nursery / Primary arm of our esteemed school had their 2nd edition of the colour day and also the grand finale of the spelling bee competition. We had a total of nine colours from cradle to Basic 5.
The classes and their colours were:
Cradle Red
Pre- nursery White
Nursery 1 Lemon green
Nursery 2 Purple
Basic 1 Lilac
Basic 2 Yellow
Basic 3 Royal blue
Basic 4 Orange
Basic 5 Pink
The event took place in the school hall at Omoyeni hall and commenced at exactly 12:30 pm. The Director and the Manager were present to grace the wonderful event. The Head teacher was the event Moderator. The following teachers anchored the spelling bee competition.

The Nursery classes performed their own creative presentation. They talked about what their colour represented and wrapped it up with a beautiful song.
The first stage of the spelling bee grand finale, started with just eight contestants. It was a rigorous stage with all the contestants struggling to attempt the three rounds. Three contestants out of the eight were evicted and the remaining five proceeded into the final stage.
The upper primary lightened up our event with their creative display. It was really awesome listening to the Orange and Pink world, the Yellow and Blue were not left out. The Director and Manager were obviously happy.
We proceeded to the final stage of the spelling bee. After each contestants did their best, we had a winner from Basic 5, the second position from Basic 5 and the third position from Basic 4. The fourth and fifth positions were also recognised.
The pupils were later called upon to show Case their different talents. Vera in Basic 4 danced to different beats. Chioma Chukwu entertained everyone with her hilarious comedy.
The Director presented different gifts to the winners in the persons of;

5th Position Chukwuma Gold
Every participants received a token for being a part of the spelling bee competition. The Director appreciated all the efforts of the teachers. Mrs Dorothy said a short closing prayer and pupils moved back to their various classes.
